Looking for a different Valentine's Day date ideas? Here’s a few Valentine's Day date ideas that do not involve the same old "romantic" dinner out at an over crowded restaurant. Plan ahead though, some of these different and romantic Valentine's Day date ideas will take a tiny bit of planning ahead of time.



The Zoo or Aquarium
Check out your local Zoo for a fun Valentine's date night idea. Most local Zoos and Aquariums host special date nights on Valentine's Day. Some Zoos also host a romantic dinner for two, special lighting throughout the Zoo, fresh flowers and more. You can check online or call your local zoo for the details. Be prepared though, many Zoos do require reservations and payment before the actual night of Valentine's Day.

The Planetarium
If the outdoor thing is not for you in the cool month of February, then check out your local planetarium. You can find everything from planned Valentine's Date night events to the every day shows already offered. What is more romantic than a night under the stars, epically a warm and snuggly night under the stars minus all the cool breezes, snow flurries, and runny noses!

An Indoor Picnic
This one can be as inexpensive as your budget requires. One of the most cost effective, romantic Valentine's date night ideas is an indoor picnic right in your own home. A real picnic indoor not just eat in and call it picnic. The idea is to lay out a red checkered table cloth on the ground, hopefully in front of a fire place. Lay out a basket filled with wine, cheese, and some yummy and greasy fried chicken!

Dance Lessons
What is more romantic than dance lessons? Not too much! Whether you knew what you doing or not, dance lessons is a chance to get close, have some fun, and learn something new! You’ll get more intimate while dancing and learning more about each other while learning to dance. Check your local dance studios for specials for Valentine's Day!

Cooking Lessons
Ok, cooking is simply romantic as well. Check out your local kitchen accessories shops, bakeries, and cooking schools to find out if they are hosting cooking lessons for two. It is not the same as trying to cook at home. You can learn to cook a romantic dinner for two, enjoy some great food, and have a little fun with your sweetie!
